@RedStarKim Oh, absolutely. Originally I thought that this would only be a temporary measure, but eventually I’d go back to face-to-face work all the time. But I’ve (slowly!) some round to the idea that it will be a mix in the future, that the online work isn’t just a temporary stopgap.

Eight months ago I was forced into delivering online training by the pandemic. Even after mass vaccination, I think it will remain part of my mix. The benefits - attendees from all over the world, provision of videos of the session afterwards - are too compelling.

@MarcSettle It’s not normally a problem - I use Zoom’s cloud recording. But today, for some reason, the session recorded locally, and my audio was dropping in and out and the connection was generally unstable, until I switched to cloud recording, and it all resolved itself.

Today’s lesson: do not record your Zoom sessions locally, if you have multiple incoming streams. It seems to strain the connection too much.
