I love this archive stuff. I just don’t understand why more local sites don’t do this: stroudtimes.com/changing-facad…
My goodness, @StroudTimes is refreshingly visually clean and readable by local journalism standards. Best of luck to them in a challenging market:
@baekdal @chrismsutcliffe Like Riker’s beard, Sisko going bald was the moment the show got really good.
@corinne_podger @Medium Oh, gosh, another Medium pivot. It felt like I was writing one of those every few months five years ago.
This is the second time they’ve pretty much gutted their editorial function.

@greenwellys @OliviaCrellin The “don’t let the digital door hit you on the way out” brigade, yes. 🙂
Here’s a thing. I always lose a few email subscribers to my blog when I post anything about diversity. It happened with the @OliviaCrellin interview last year, and it happened again with this piece yesterday. No wonder we have issues. onemanandhisblog.com/2021/03/divers…

The oldest draft I have in the back end of @omandhb is over a decade old. It will almost certainly never be finished or published.
But I can’t quite bring myself to delete it.
Does anyone else have this issue?
How do we make newsletters and independent publishing more diverse? Here’s my notes from a useful panel from @journalismnews, chaired by @MarcelaKunova and featuring the wisdom of @iroughol @qinxiesays and @baekdal
