A change to the format of my daily links posts today. Thanks to feedback from subscribers (both free and paid), I’ve shifted to a smaller number of “news you can use” links.

The inevitable “information overload” stage has hit newsletters, as well…

That means I’m going to start doing a weekend digest of more opinion/long-read stuff. And possibly doing more link posts on the blog that don’t get sent out to email subscribers.

Anyway, here’s the first new format post. Feedback welcome!

So, what does today’s Engaged Reading Digest have to offer, other than the 17th birthday of my blog?

Well, for one, there’s the spread of the Stories format to both Twitter and LinkedIn… t.co/6wDzFMiPY…

Well, now. One Man & His Blog is 17 years old today.

That’s astonishing. It’s probably the most time I’ve committed to a single thing, bar the relationship with my wife (who was not yet my wife when the blog began…) onemanandhisblog.com

Given that Facebook is still unable to cope with the concept that there might be two places called “Shoreham Beach”, one in Australia and one here in Sussex, and this keeps merging them, I don’t have a lot of confidence in its ability to detect, well, anything.
