Not the end of the camera I’m used to being on, but I’m slowly getting the knack of it. t.co/JuAbcdoWf…

@raddledoldtart whispers I don’t drink tea.

My wife is making two cups of tea - for herself.

This is going to be an interesting day… t.co/z0qsvhuA9…

I miss cinemas. The longer this goes on, the more I realise what I miss and what I don’t from The Before Times.

And I miss going to the cinema with my oldest daughter. They’re gone for now, and for a while to come. I hope they come back before she’s too old to want to join me.

@Documentally If molecular biology doesn’t work out, my wife clearly has an alternative career ahead… 😉

@seh Not bad for the first haircut Lorna’s done!

The time finally arrived. The lockdown haircut had to happen. t.co/sxs4pIQcC…

Actually made it to the beach for the first time this week. t.co/3l1qUzYkV…

@CharlieBeckett No! I was being genuine!

It’s just that genuineness travels less well over the Twitters than sarcasm!

(Oh, God, this is going to come over as sarcasm, too, isn’t it?)

@CharlieBeckett Thanks - I’ll take a read. And you are, of course, always ahead of the curve. 😉

One impact of #COVID19 on #journalism that I don’t see people talking about enough: it’s turning theatres and museums and more into content publishers - and that means more competition for audiences:

In case you missed it yesterday, this is some worthwhile reading about engaged #journalism. Bound to be something in here to interest you.

This is a bloody great headline for a political sketch. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/…

The signs were all there, but this is shocking none-the-less. Some serious journalistic talent passed through that operation - but they couldn’t find a business model for it. theguardian.com/media/2020/may…
